This is has to be one of the cleanest, nicest, and tastiest Chinese restaurant I've ever been to! I believe they did a fresh remodel to make the place look so nice!
I came for dim sum and was very pleased of this place. There are about 2-3 carts getting rolled around with plenty of hit steaming delicious dim sum! There are so many options to choose from and the quality of the food is absolutely great! They are pretty big, and each dish comes with about 3-4 pieces.
We had over 6-7 dishes and I did not regret any of the choices I made. One of my favorite dishes here were the fried pork balls, they had some sort of mochi or rice cake slightly fried and crispy, filled with pork goodness. Also, can't go wrong with the pork shumai (probably spelled that wrong) and the shrimp balls we're very large and subtle.
Overall, my experience was there was great! Although the prices are bit high, the quality was amazing! As well as the interior and customer service was A+! This will be my regular Chinese restaurant from now on. 5 stars. -

Dim Sum place for lunch. Let me say that it was much worse than I had expected. Only really liked the Siomai. Tried the Shrimp Dumplings, Pork Gyoza, Steamed Custard Buns, Pineapple Buns, and a few others. Also ordered the Duck which was not part of the Dim Sum menu. Taste-wise, all of the foods were so-so and odd tasting. Like I said, mainly liked the Siomai, but not of the other food items, really. Some flavor was missing on most of them. For example, the dumplings were very bland and tasted very weird, the Pineapple Buns were missing the cream, the Steamed Custard Buns were not what we expected them to be.
The Duck took almost an hour when they said 40 minutes. Didn't really see too many carts going around by 10:15 AM when we got there. Choices were simply just OK. Nothing too special. Had better Dim Sum elsewhere. Duck was good, though. We were there until 11:50 AM. -

The Peking duck at Imperial Garden is a must try in Seattle! I always highly recommend it to visitors and go out of my way to visit. Tip: Make sure to call a day beforehand to reserve it.
Beyond their mouth watering duck, they serve a variety of entrees from classic dim sum (shu mai, har gow) to delicious Chinese dishes (eggplant in XO sauce, spicy fish in oil)
Pros: plenty of space, easy parking, great service, large menu
Cons: crowded on weekends -

Long line to get in on Sunday morning. After waiting about 20-25 minutes we got a seat where I had to sit sidesaddle because I was against someone on my back side. We had Dim Sum. It tasted good, but within 45 minutes after eating I was running to the restroom. I guess some say it's good to purge your bowels and stomach from time to time but it's not what I like to do when I'm away from home. Not sure what happened but I suspect they use a lot of oil or fat when cooking. My stomach has never happened those well. The price was very high too as it was about $70 for just two of us.

This review is for the Dim Sum lunch items...
Dishes we had:
Steamed Beef Tripe, great execution of the timing, not over cooked so as the texture becomes rubbery.
Steamed Rice Roll with Minced Beef, this item is very hard to make good, and they really did a great job, with the rice roll being the perfect consistency and also the minced beef filling is perfectly cooked.
Salted Pork with Preserved Egg Congee, its actually very very good but it is served lukewarm!!
Shrimp Dumplings: the wrapping is slightly thick and makes the whole dumpling very doughy, also the shrimp is not seasoned properly and also falls apart when you bite into it.
Oh, their tea is great, we ordered Tie Guan Yin and it came in a large pot with very hot water which makes the flavour comes out easier. Also, the pot does not leak all over when you pour!! Love their larger tea cups too!
I have to agree with other Yelpers, the new owner is trying very hard to make this a better restaurant then the one it replaces, but I think they still need to look into the Dim Sum quality more closely as I recall the previous restaurant that was here had better dim sum!
Since they are famous for their Peking Duck, I may come by to try when I am in the neighbourhood! This can easily be a 5 star restaurant, will have to see how their dinner items match up!
Great addition to the Kent area!!!
